Bringing healthcare to the Maasai Mara

In the heart of Talek, Kenya, the Koyiaki Community Clinic - founded by the inspiring Dr. Njapit Jackson - provides critical healthcare to over 13,000 patients annually.

Serving a vast Maasai area, the clinic's small team treats 80 people per day, with numbers rising to 120 on market days in Talek. Patients come not only from the Maasai Mara region in Kenya but also from across the border in Tanzania.

What makes this clinic truly special? Dr. Jackson’s “pay what you can” policy ensures that no one is turned away. Some patients walk for days to reach the clinic, one of the few healthcare centers in the region.

With support from the Gianni Gromo Foundation, the clinic now receives all the medications they need, enabling Dr. Jackson and his team to prescribe treatments without hesitation - ensuring that everyone, regardless of financial means, gets the care they deserve.

This partnership is making real, lasting change, delivering life-saving care to thousands. 💪✨
